WHAT IS IT
A crochet pattern where you learn how to crochet simple Y2K mini skirt with invisible elastic waist and side slit. The length, size and shape is customizable, as well as the slit placement and length. The pattern follows your measurements and is very straightforward. You will also get a short video (no audio) showing how to insert the elastic band. Therefore you can also use any hook, yarn (and/or stitch) you’d like – but not that the bigger the yarn/hook/stitch the less flare it will have and vice verca.

MATERIALS
1 piece of 3 cm wide elastic band (measuring your waist – 5 cm). Link to elastic here (affiliate)
3 mm hook
Cotton, size 1/superfine. Yardage: 50 g = 160 m. I used 697 m (210 g) for my size S/M.
Add/remove 80 m for each size (4 cm in circumference, 2 cm in length) you go up/down.
SIZE
Can be made in any size, length and shape (A-line like the green striped one or more tight-fitted like the brown and beige one). The slit can be made as a side slit or front slit – moved anywhere you’d like and be any length you’d like – you can also skip the slit all together!
